Dinah, a young up and coming Christian Hip Hop artist, a mom, a wife, a daughter and she happens to be my lil sister. She’s been putting this off for a long time, every time we had a date set she went and cancelled or changed the date so I finally said “Let’s do it tomorrow!”. She was unprepared and caught off guard and I think that helped in the success of her shoot. She has a CD coming out soon and so this was for her album cover. We had fun as we always do together. My family isn’t really known for being too serious we laugh at EVERYTHING. I’m glad we finally had the session D aren’t you? Now I need to convince our dad to like pictures so we can finally get a family portrait done it’s been YEARS since we’ve had one. Meet my little sister Dinah.
In 2004 Dinah was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease by the name of “Medullary Sponge Kidney” if you click the link you can learn more about this as I am not well equipped to even begin to explain it here. The point is she needs help and soon. She is a young Christian Hip-Hop artist and has a CD due out soon. In order for that to happen she is taking donations by way of paypal email address to use is dinah.gomez@gmail.com. All proceeds go toward the creation of her CD which in turn helps her to raise the money she needs for surgery. Any and all help given by any of you is much appreciated. As an incentive the 10th person to donate or the person who donates the most wins a free session with Latina Vega Photography or Boudoir by Latina. Do it for her, do it for her kids, do it for me, do it for the free session, but please just do it. I’d like to keep my lil sister around longer than she’s expected to be now for the sake of her 2 young children and for our family.

This woman is adorable. I always told her that! Eileen and I went to high school together and she is one of the few friends I still have from those days. All through high school I would tell her how cute she was and that has NOT changed! I was so excited when she contacted me to participate in the boudoir event, and with reason. I mean look at her! Fela, Fela, Fela! What can I say about this woman? She is amazing! She is by far my favorite person at the moment, not only because she is a repeat customer but because I have witnessed, firsthand her transformation from shy and nervous to bold and confident! Her costumes were awesome last time and even better this time! I had to say nothing to her, I just stood there let her do her thing and I captured her essence! I had been wanting to take Marisol’s pictures for sometime now but we just kept missing each other. Finally she was able to pose for me this trip and I’m so glad she did, I KNEW she’d make for a fun model. Not to mention she is a classic beauty. I had fun Marisol! I hope you did too.
